Another Big Step

Congratulations to Joni Kalandari for passing the Instrument Airplane Practical Test. Joni earned his Multi Engine Rating before starting his instrument training so he could log Pilot In Command time during his course. So now, with his Private Pilot Single Engine, Multi-Engine and Instrument Airplane ratings complete, Joni will use some hours for Experience Building in a Diamond Star then on to the Multi Commercial Program. Good work and great flying, Joni!
It’s a bit late to be handing out congratulations. Nevertheless, my hats off to you, Joni! How are you faring in the skies after a year? Are you any further into your goal of becoming a commercial airline pilot? Being a retired pilot, it warms my heart to know of young Americans who are keeping the passion of flying aglow in their hearts. That said, I hope more Americans take to the skies.
