Diamond Star

The Diamond Star is a great multi role aircraft. It’s predictable and safe low speed handling characteristics make it an ideal primary training aircraft, while it’s modern design allow a cruise speed in excess of 140 knots at a very economical fuel burn.
The excellent visibility from the cockpit combined with the traffic awareness provided by the G1000 greatly enhances safety, especially when operating in congested airspace.
The DA40 was the first airplane to go into production with the Garmin G1000 ‘Glass Cockpit’ flight deck. This avionics suite combined with the aircraft’s handling characteristics make it a great IFR platform.
You can see why we at Angel City Flyers love this plane.
